Terms & Conditions / Payment

1. On acceptance of a booking, the let will be provisionally reserved and 15% of the rental should be paid to secure the booking. Payment should be sent within 7 days to confirm the booking.

2. A receipt and an invoice for the balance of the rental will be issued. The balance is payable 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the tenancy.

3. If a booking is made less than 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the tenancy, the total rent will be due within 7 days of the booking and prior to commencement of the tenancy.

4. Failure to comply with clauses 1, 2, or 3 above may result in cancellation of the booking and we reserve the right to re-let the property without further notice.

5. Prior to the start of the let period, we will require the names of those staying at the apartment and the ages of children if applicable.

6. Payments may be made by any of the following methods:

a. By Credit Card/Debit Card/Paypal Account - if paying by this method please add 3.5% to the total of the deposit or balance to cover card payment charges. Please click on button below and follow instructions.

b. By International bank transfer - if you require to pay by this method please let me know by email. Be aware however that bank fees are charged from both payer and payee and is therefore not recommended.

c. By cheque - drawn on a United Kingdom Bank; payable to Mr C A R Ramsay. Sent to:39 Long Cram, Haddington, East Lothian, EH41 4NS

d. By Banker's Draft

7. All payments must be made in Pounds Sterling.

8. In the event of cancellation of a booking, if the tenancy can be re-let, the client will be liable only for the difference between the rental achieved on re-letting (which may be at a reduced rate) and the agreed initial rental, plus an administration fee. If the tenancy cannot be re-let, the client will remain liable to pay the full amount agreed. We therefore recommend that you insure against cancellation.
